It seems appropriate for this post to focus on cPanel, as the previous one delved on webhosting. Those that have already embarked on launching their websites will be familiar with the term "cPanel", whilst those new to webhosting might not be fully aware of it.

cPanel (control panel) is a graphical web-based webhosting control, designed to simplify administration of websites. The cPanel can be accessed by logging into one's webhost account. Once inside cPanel one is presented by numerous features, which include mail, log, files, security, domains, databases etc.

However, despite all these features being present within cPanel, what is really missing is information on what these features do or how important they are to the smooth running of the website. Personally, I have been able to discover what some of the features in cPanel do by trial and error while leaving me wondering what the rest do.
